CANDACE JACKSON, PRINCIPAL
Candace Jackson began her career in theater management focusing on administration, marketing, and general management for performing arts institutions. Since 1993, she has worked with numerous theater, dance, film, visual arts and cultural organizations to streamline productions logistics, develop sustainable operating systems, and improve institutional capacity and growth potential.
Prior to founding CJAM Consulting, Candace served as Director of Operations for the Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. During her tenure she managed the Apollo’s facilities and administrative operations, event logistics, and co-coordinated Phase I of the Apollo’s $65 million historic restoration project.
Candace’s experience with several other New York City arts organizations came via an appointment as Program Officer for the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, where she administered the $25 million Cultural Industry Investment Fund providing operating and programming capital for arts and cultural institutions in Upper Manhattan.
Her earlier managerial experience included positions with the Yale Repertory Theater in New Haven, CT, New Haven International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, CT, and the Alliance Theater in Atlanta.
Candace earned an MFA in Theater Management from the Yale School of Drama, and a BFA in Theater Arts and Business Administration from Howard University.
Candace is also a LEED, Accredited Professional.
WILLIAM BRYANT MILES, ASSOCIATE
William Bryant Miles is an arts management consultant and educational instructor. His administrative experience includes tenure with Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC where he implemented audience development and new media initiatives as part of the company’s transition into a new theatre complex, three times the size of the original. He has also worked with the Hip-Hop Theater Festival and the Lark Play Development Center in New York and Washington, DC.
Prior to joining CJAM, Mr. Miles was an Emerging Arts Management Fellow at New York Theatre Workshop, where he focused on fundraising and grant writing. Mr. Miles earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University and a graduate degree from Goldsmiths, University of London in England.

Jason Moses Projects executes build-outs requiring superior levels of complexity and intricacy- helping owners find the sweet spot between design, schedule, and cost.
After receiving a degree in architecture and experience in leading architecture firms, Jason Moses cut his teeth in project management by building stores for the Gucci Group, predominantly Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, and Sergio Rossi.
Jason’s varied background brings a balanced approach to projects consisting of refined design sensibilities, thorough knowledge of construction means and methods, and an owner’s perspective.
